Small yet consistent steps take you far. Every step in the general direction of your destination adds to your progress. The path to your destination may not be a straight line from A to B. So, look up intermittently to check the skyline, and focus on finding ways that lead to the goal. Obstacles are just stepping stones. Every challenge is an opportunity to learn something in your journey. The more you learn, the better person you’ll be when you arrive at the destination.

Flowing rivers from mountains to oceans, or migrating birds and animals have an inherent message of profound wisdom of life. Those who turn to nature for inspiration tend to walk calmly and reach destinations happily. At the end, it’s absolutely true what Bhagavad Gita proclaims: Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana, which may be translated to: focus only on your efforts, and fruits or results of your efforts would come naturally to you.

World Growth Forums has continued in its long and firm strides of growth and expansion, consistently crossing more national borders and holding hands with great personalities from around the world, while deeply focused on its vision of creating positivities and possibilities for all to grow together.

In our current issue of World Growth Forums Magazine, we discuss that human rights must not be available only to the privileged few, as also urged by the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

Because there is a major risk after the pandemic that as advanced economies and a few emerging markets recover faster, most developing countries will languish for years to come, IMF Managing Director, Kristalina Georgieva, has urged that the Group of 20 countries should take strong policy actions to reverse a ‘dangerous divergence’ that threatens to leave most developing economies languishing for years.

The World Bank: Women, Business & the Law 2021 report, published recently and the seventh in a series of annual studies measuring laws and regulations that affect women’s economic opportunity in 190 economies, claims that the pandemic has exacerbated existing inequalities that affect women.

A new research and report ‘COVID-19 and Gender Equality: Countering the Regressive Effects’, from McKinsey Global Institute has found that economic disruption from the coronavirus outbreak has disproportionately burdened women with unpaid care.

And, finally the good news from the World Health Organization that global rollout of COVID-19 vaccine doses has started.
