All is not locked down during corona scare! Dreams, vision, ingenious ideas, enthusiasm, burning desire to make a difference in the world and a lot more were never freer. With unprecedented focus and determination, several of us have found newer ways to express ourselves and achieve excellence. In a largely gloomy worldwide scenario, innumerable people have been offering others reasons to smile, ideas to improve themselves, and a hope for a better future. Believe me, all of us need to exercise a little willpower, and pretty soon at the next turn we may leave the dreadly and deadly corona virus and everything associated with it behind us, and embrace a more promising world.

Though some of us are daily experiencing negatives related with COVID-19 pandemic, and negative thoughts at such stressful times are difficult to avoid, a positive mindset coupled with sincere efforts can do wonders to our mental state and our efforts towards keeping everything right and achieving more.

I know laying down rules and preaching is easier than actually endeavouring and achieving your targets; however, stories of our contributors in this issue would definitely make you notice how triumphs – minor or major – can be accomplished through a positive mindset.

I would say it again, because I staunchly believe in it, and it was never more relevant than today’s extremely trying times: ‘Nothing is unattainable for humans, because a thinking human brain is the most powerful thing in the universe. Anything and everything can be achieved; the only limitation that may exist would be the limitation of a particular mind’s boundaries set by self.’

Continuing with our spread of positivity, we bring to you another issue teeming with stories of passion, success, personal challenges and triumphs. Both young and experienced people from different walks of life have shared how they overcame obstacles to achieve what their heart desired, and how they transformed every opposition into an exciting set of opportunities.

As the entire world is struggling but has come together to find solutions to problems related to COVID-19 pandemic, our current issue is dedicated to corona warriors in any form at all places. Even those who are staying at home and keeping themselves and others safe are contributing immensely in our common fight to flatten the curve and break the chain.

In this issue, you would find how World Economic Forum, Tata Group and Dubai government have taken intense steps to help businesses, employees, patients, general public and the needy.

Some prominent nation builders we have covered include Dr S Jaishankar, India’s External Affairs Minister, who has emphasized that the current COVID-19 challenge underlines all the more the need for reform of multilateral systems and that reformed multilateralism is the way forward.

Showing light at the end of the tunnel, Billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates, whose Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is aiding the effort to fight the coronavirus, has declared that a vaccine could be just nine months away.

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) of India has come forward with a noble gesture donating one-day salary of its staff members to the PM CARES Fund, and is distributing ration packs to the needy & poor to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Paaila Technology from Nepal has taken an all-hands-on-deck approach as its dedicated team has used its expertise in robotics to design and deploy Nursing robots, Disinfection UVD robots and ventilators tailored for very ill coronavirus patients and future usage in the worstcase scenario.

Walter Eliawonyi Mtui’s story from Tanzania, Africa at such times is also heartening as he shares how overcoming all challenges he has successfully established Happy Kilimanjaro Adventure.

World Growth Forums understands that there are exclusive and extraordinary nation builders who possess peerless excellence, through which they have been consistently pioneering ingenious pathways of growth in the country of their primary profession, and then in the world as a chain reaction.

Honoring such rare excellence at an exclusive Platform of Excellence, World Growth Forums is committed to positive growth of the world.
